1) Zoom appearances are allowed daily for all matters except for emergency motions, contested hearings, and trials. Attorneys and their clients must appear in person for emergency motions, contested hearings, and trials unless advance permission is given by the Court. 2) Hearings and trial conferences are held daily. Scheduled times for these matters will be determined on the setting date.
3) As it relates to Court Orders:
- minute entries are allowed for pretrial case management or status dates;
- written orders are required for court rulings, detailed agreed orders, and judgments;
- orders submitted by way of Odyssey are acceptable.
4) Courtesy copies of memorandums are welcome and helpful, but they are not required. Courtesy copies of memorandums may be emailed to judgeslazyk@il12thcourt.gov.
5) The court call will begin daily at 9:00 A.M. Please check in with the courtroom circuit clerk prior to the start of the court call if your appearance is required in multiple courtrooms.
